New York Fashion Week Day 2

Sigamos con lo último en New York. El día 2 (10 de Septiembre) éstas fueron las colecciones de caballero qeu se vieron: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Buckler, Duckie Brown, Nautica, Rag & Bone, Steven Alan y Tim Hamilton Redux.

Lets go on with the last from New York. The second day (September the 10th) this were the menswear collections: 3.1 Phillip Lim, Buckler, Duckie Brown, Nautica, Rag & Bone, Steven Alan and Tim Hamilton Redux.

                            3.1 Phillip Lim                                                            Buckler

3.1 Phillip Lim estuvo dedidacada a la idea de crear el nuevo tipo de dandy: parte cabellero, parte rockero. Para ésto usó piel, capas sencillas e inspiración de los 70's y 80's.

En Buckler tomaron inspiración de los soñadores de los años 30's en Alemana, en la siempre inspiradora Bauhaus, pero usando sus colores patrióticos fieles a sus raíces inglesas combinando sus gabardinas khaki con lo geométrico.

3.1 Phillip Lim collection was dedicated to the idea of creating a new kind of dandy: part gentleman part rocker. For this Lim uses leather, simple layers and 70's and 80's inspiration.

At Bucker the inspiration was taken from the german 30's dreamers of the always inspiring Bauhaus, but using their patriotic colours and british roots mixing their khaki trenches with geometry.

                       Duckie Brown                                             Rag & Bone

Cox y Silver de Duckie Brown hicieron una colección para el fashionisto anti-sastrería y cool-kid: chaquetas de leopardo, colores neon, franjas, camisas de camuflage... cosas quo no encontrarás en ningún otro lugar.

Otro dúo, David Neville y Marcus Wainwright de Rag & Bone hicieron algo más usable y cómodo: amplias capas, ropa de trabajo oversize, boxy tops y espléndidos toques de color como amarillo, naranja y azul sobre neutros camel y gris.

Cox and Silver form Duckie Brown made a collection for the anti-tailoring cool-kid fashionisto: leopard jackets, neon colours, bold stripes, camo shirts... stuff you'll not find anywhere else.

Another duo, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright  from Rag & Bone made something more wearable and confrortable: slouchy layering, oversized workwear, boxy tops and splendid touches of colour like yellow, orange and blue over neutral camel and grey.

                          Steven Alan                                                  Tim Hamilton Redux

Con Steven Alan todo es sobre las tranquilas vacaciones de verano junto a un lago con una actitud relajada y lindos sombreros, básicos simples y colores neutrales frescos.

Tim Hamilton realzó la tendencia que viene de la silueta alargada: tops alargados combinados com joggers, pantalones sastreados, shorts deportivos... el diseñador define la colección "es como Europa del Este se junta con Los Angeles". Ésto es streetwear de verdad.

With Steven Alan everything is about the tranquil summer vacations by the lake with an easy going attitude paired with nice hats, simple basics and cool neutral colours.

Tim Hamilton highlighted the upcoming elongated silhouette trend: longline vests paired with joggers, tailored pants, sporty shorts... the designer himself defines the collection as "It's like Eastern Europe meets L.A.". That's real streetwear.

Chris Cox para Nautica tiene prendas clásicas americanas, muy Nautica, muy comunes, muy básicas pero tambien muy bellas.

Chris Cox for Nautica has classic american garments, very Nautica, very common, very basic but also very pretty.
